What to do if your email is not working.
- Check your internet connection. Open a web browser and go to any website to see if it loads. If you get any errors, then your connection to the internet is not working. This will prevent your email from working.
- Are you on a wired network or Wifi? Is your network cable plugged in? or Is your Wifi signal strong?
- Send yourself a test email. Simply open a new email message and send it to your email address. If you receive the email without any errors then your email is working fine.
- Perhaps no one has sent you any email at this point in time.
- Have you changed anything on you computer or device?
- System Settings?
- Software updates?
- New hardware or drivers?
- Network or firwall settings?
- Have you checked your computer for malware, viruses or performed general system maintenance?
- Have you restarted/rebooted the computer or device?
- My old email is gone! Have you archived your mail? If yes then check your archive folder on your designated computer.
- Are you able to login to your webmail account?

How to connect to your webmail account.
- Go to
https://gcec.ca
- Click on "sign in"
- Enter your full email address.
- Enter your password (Or temporary password if this is the first time.)
- A window will open. Click on "Roundcube"
- Enjoy your email.
Note - We recommend changing your temporary password as soon as possible.
Once your webmail is set up and working you can bookmark the sign in page. This will take you to the sign in page directly every time.
How to change your account password.
- Go to

- Click on "sign in"
- Enter your full email address.
- Enter your temporary password.
- A window will open. Scroll down and click on "Password & Security" near the bottom left side of the screen.
- Enter your new password.
- Click "Save" to apply the new password.
Our email server settings.
Here are the server settings you may need to set up other email clients.
Username: your full email address
Password: your account password
Incoming IMAP hostname / server: mail.your domain
IMAP Port: 993
Outgoing SMTP hostname / server: mail.your domain
SMTP Port: 465
IMAP and SMTP require authentication.
